1. All birds must be vaccinated for PMV minimal 12 days before shipping or delivering to the DeVries OLR Challenge OLR.
2. Accepting birds and replacements from March 22 to May 18, no exceptions. We will not extend intake to get some more perch fees. Birds will be darkened so need to get on the same page.

3. Breeders must print the Entry Form from the website and send it or bring it with the birds.

4. If you are part of a SYNDICATE, there must be one contact person, it is this person’s responsibility to make the PAYMENTS, we do not want multiple breeders sending their part.
5. All prizes will be paid to the name of the contact person of the syndicate, after the final race, all birds of the syndicate will only be released or shipped to the contact person. We will not referee or take sides in ANY dispute of a syndicate.
6. Perch fees and  Entry fees are as follows: Perch fee: $100 plus HST Entry fee: $325

8. We take NO CUT out of any prize money for so called “race expenses”
9. There is NO W9 required for any winnings.
10. We will be using BENZING clocking system with Wincompanion and Benzing LIVE for live results.
11. Birds will be vaccinated for PMV upon arrival.
12. Birds will be flown on our darkening system.
13. All birds must be banded with a 2025 seamless band recognized by a National Organization.
14. It will be a 5 races series, 100 Miles (activation), 145 Miles, 225 Miles, 250 Miles and 350-375 Miles main race. All 5 Races count for Average Speed. Race dates are subject to change due to weather or the condition of the birds, at the sole discretion of Devries OLR Challenge.

15. The breeder keeps ownership of their birds. (See rule 5)
16. For the main race (Drop, then Clocking Order). Arrival of the first bird(s) together will be considered the 1st drop and paid equally (if 5 birds arrive together, the top 5 prizes will be added and split equally to the first 5 birds). If one or more bird(s) that arrived on the first drop does not trap, this or these bird(s) will be considered on the drop until another bird arrives. If a bird or more birds arrive and get mixed with the ones on the first drop that did not clocked yet, they will be in clocking order from this point. All other birds after the first drop will be paid by clocking order.
17. If there is an eligible bird on the drop that does not clock due to clock or chip malfunction, the loft manager will verify eligibility on all the birds on the drop and after verification this bird will be placed last in the drop order.
18. After the Final Race if you want the birds back, birds must be claimed within 15 days after the last race. Any birds not claimed by then become property of DeVries OLR Challenge.
19. Return shipping fees must be paid prior to birds being shipped.
20. DeVries Challenge OLR is not responsible for any lost bird(s) from injury, illness, loft fly or lost from training tosses or races. All the birds will be treated the same.
21. DeVries OLR Challenge will NOT make any changes to loft names after intake closes. NO EXCEPTIONS.
22. DeVries OLR Challenge reserves the right to make all the decisions, and those decisions are final.
23. DeVries OLR Challenge reserves the right to deny participation in our race to any breeder or attendee at our discretion.
24. DeVries OLR Challenge is NOT responsible for lost birds under any circumstance, including but not limited to shipping issues, government interference, illness, natural disaster, theft, or any other circumstance.
25. At DeVries OLR Challenge we hand scan all birds for every Official Race (Electronic Chips and Condition of the birds will be checked).
26. Participants must be nineteen (19) years of age or older to enter our race.
27. NO ONE will be allowed to handle any bird at the DeVries Challenge OLR under any circumstances. Only DeVries Challenge OLR can handle birds once entered in the race.
28. At DeVries OLR Challenge we will be using BEYERS feed mixes and health products, imported by O and DeVries.
29. By entering the DeVries OLR Challenge, you agree that you have read, understand and will abide by all the rules.
